A Hike

Yesterday Phantom was being squirrely because he didn't get a walk the night before so we decided to head up to Mt. Charleston again. Fletcher Trail is not too strenuous so it's good for a 2-year old. Of course said 2-year old was quite cranky from being up late the night before and required someone to carry him even on parts he could have easily done himself. We ended up hiking to the end and back which took about 3 hours I think and was around 3.5 miles.

Nate and I discovered this shelter on our last hike up here. He's thinks it's quite fun to play in.

Eddie carried Nate like this for the good portion of the hike. At one point Nate sang us a few songs while sitting up there.

Nate's favorite part of hiking: sitting on a log having a snack.

Nate slid on his butt all the way down from the little cave.

Phantom still likes hiking, but he's not as energetic as he used to be on hikes.

Nate's new hiking backpack that has a kid leash that hooks on at the top. He carried his own water and snacks.

A video of Nate climbing around. The camera was acting up and it gets blurry in a few places.
