Happy Independence Day

Eddie and I can't remember what we did last year on the 4th of July, which probably means we didn't do anything. So in other words, this was Nate's first experience with fireworks. We drove up to Logandale in the afternoon and had some yummy food and birthday cake. Grandma and Grandpa had a bunch of new fun toys for Nate like a little swimming pool, a chair, bubbles, a car, a book, and some gardening tools. We all had a lot of fun playing until the firework show at the County Fairground, which we can see from the backyard.

Quite tired and waiting for the fireworks to start

It was 2 hours past Nate's bedtime by the time the fireworks started, and we was getting a bit cranky waiting in the dark for them to start. He didn't make a peep though during the firework show and seemed to love it. First 4th of July was a success.
