Single Digits

The magic numbers of the day are 9 and 6. What do these number mean? 9 is for how many weeks left until my due date, and 6 is for how many weeks until the little monster can come without me worrying too much. I keep saying he can come anytime after Thanksgiving, but of course he can stay in there as long as he wants. Well, within reason. He needs to be born before Christmas. I might explode if he wanted to stay any longer than 2 weeks over due. He'll come when he's good and ready, but whenever he decides to come it's going to be very soon.

Eddie and I toured the Summerlin Hospital Labor and Delivery ward last night. Standing in the L&D room really made it real for Eddie. I think it kind of freaked him out a bit that we would be in a room like that in a very short amount of time and that this is all really happening. I was strange for me seeing the room too for the same reasons. We will tour Mountain View on Wednesday and make our decision on the hospital by the end of the week.

Everything is going well baby wise. My chair finally came in. It is residing in our "library" right now until we set up the baby's room. We will be doing that in a couple of weeks. I'm anxious to get it set up so I have somewhere to put his stuff. I have my first baby shower being thrown by people from dance on Friday. It will be a lot of fun to see everyone again. I've popped in once to visit since I stopped dancing at the end of July. It seems like forever since I've danced, but it's only been a few months. I hope I can get back into it somehow after the baby is born.

Here's a picture of me and the bump. It looks huge in this picture. Maybe it's bigger than I realized! This was last night in front of Mom and Dad's fireplace. I've also included the super cute baby shower invite that Mom and I made. The little cars are brads. They turned out so cute. Too bad most of you live so far away and can't attend. :( That's all for now. Enjoy!
