We are the proud owners of...

...a vending machine business. As of yesterday, Eddie and I own 5 large vending machines (3 drink machines, a snack machine, and an ice cream machine) and a few smaller ones. We bought the machines from someone on Craig's List. The 5 large machines are already placed in a business. The small ones still need a home. The nice thing is the hours are flexible, and it will be more profitable that being a teacher with a Master's degree. We have made one small step towards eventually working for ourselves rather than someone else. We still have a lot of work to do, but it will be rewarding because the business is ours. Hopefully once we get the hang of it and things are going smoothly we can purchase more machines and expand.

Also, a great book that Eddie has read and I am reading is Rich Dad, Poor Dad. It makes you think about the possibility of making money work for you instead of working for money.
