We had a nice visit with Cindi while she was here. We took a tour of the new Zappos building downtown one morning. Down in the basement where they have classrooms and meeting rooms they are paining an Alice in Wonderland theme. It wasn't finished, but what they have so far is amazing!

We dyed Easter eggs one afternoon. Nate's first time. He was a pro. Nate went up to St. George with Grandma and Grandpa for an Easter egg hunt and lunch on Saturday, and we spend Easter with Eddie's mom and dad.
Eddie did his 3rd Tough Mudder race at Lake Las Vegas at the end of April. It was a last minute decision after he ran the Spartan Race. The nice thing is Zappos pays for the cost of the races Eddie does after he send them a picture of him finishing. He's trying to get 10 races in by the end of the year, which earns him some sort of jacket or something. The race next weekend that the 3 of us are signed up for will be #4 for him this year. He'll fit in some other 5Ks and possibly some other longer races later this year.

We did a Jeep run recently at the Desert National Wildlife Refuge. Nate fell asleep in the back while we were bumping along. Go figure. We found a nice camping spot along the way too. It's a drive to get to it, but there is a bathroom. :) We did a clean up at Mt. Charleston last Saturday and went to the Zappos Family Picnic complete with bumper cars, face painting and a ferris wheel. Nate loved it.
Now that it's getting warmer we'll have to find cooler places to go adventuring like Mt. Charleston. Tonight we are going to a free concert in the park right by our house. Hopefully it will be bearable by 7pm to be outside after such a hot day.
